This weekend AEGEE-Dresden attended the European Planning Meeting (EPM) in Leiden with three members. (You can read a report about the EPM here.) The EPM is the biggest thematic event within the AEGEE network. This time around 350 young people from all over Europe came together in Leiden between 25th to 29th February.
Besides the cultural exchange and the opportunity to get to know a new city, the EPM had two goals. Firstly, the EPM is the place where the AEGEE Action Agenda is drawn up. This document describes the thematic focus of AEGEE for the upcoming academic year. Secondly many discussions and workshops on a currently relevant topic take place. This years‘ topic was Refugees in Europe – Europe ‘vs.‘ the rest: change of perspective?
